Stake RS Emergency/Disaster Preparedness Training Workshop
We would like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Paula Faddis and Linda Scadden and their amazing Emergency/Disaster Preparedness committee:

Water - Liz Anderson and Missy Peck
Sanitation - Doris Woffinden and Mary Pinkham
Alternative Cooking - Sherri Cook and Rain Jeppson
We all had a wonderful, informative, and empowering night of TRAINING. Our greatest provident living hopes (thus far) for 2011 are:
1) That the four participants from each ward that were invited to attend by their ward RS presidents will be excited to return to their home wards and help strengthen the sisters in the areas that they were trained in under the direction received from her RS presidency.
2) That we may unite as a stake in helping each woman feel that they can live providently, achieve goals that they have set for their own families, and that we are all in this together to help, love, serve and support one another.
3) As of 1-11-11, there are now 100 more women in our stake that have a lot more knowledge in one of our four areas of focus: shelter, water, sanitation and alternative cooking, than they had before. Let's have that number be in the 1000's before the end of the year.
